University Arms Hotel
Named one of Time Magazines top 100 places to visit in the world in 2019, Meister Masonry are extremely proud to have been contracted to design and manufacture the stonework for this multi award winning hotel.
The extensive £80m refurbishment made use of local Clipsham limestone with Meister Masonry manufacturing all the required natural stone components; plinths, cills, string course and of course the façade dominating Porte Cochere.
By utilising the extensive selection of stone cutting machinery at our state-of-the-art production facility in the Cotswolds, the Porte Cochere saw our 5 & 6 axis CNC machines put to good use, quickly producing detailed and dimensionally accurate stonework. The stone was later passed through the hands of our resident team of expert stone masons to ensure a crisp, clean finish.
“The continued investment into both our production facility and team at Meister Masonry pays dividends when handing over a product that exudes the quality and standard that has been achieved at University Arms Hotel.”
