Hope House, Bath

Fusing both modern and tradition together, this highly regarded project included the restoration of an existing grade II listed building, Hope House, as well as the major redevelopment of a former school site into 54 new high end luxury apartments and houses with associated landscaping.

This prestigious development is located in central Bath delivering panoramic views of both Bath city and the Avon valley.

The Hope House development provided several challenges not least the aggressive installation programme and site logistics however, working collaboratively with the site team, ensured the smooth progression of the works, as attested below.

“The traditional techniques and complex detailed construction, both combined with the logistical and resource challenges has called for a stonework contractor with the ability to respond and perceiver, something I am pleased to say Meister have excelled at.

Hope House is a very challenging project under normal constraints, however it was required to be accelerated significantly, thus emphasising the need for a thorough and robust design and manufacture technique Meister’s unique approach enabled the stone to be manufactured swiftly, and all but eliminated cutting on site.

Meister’s personable approach and commitment to the project has seen an accelerated progress, whilst maintaining an exceptional quality of finish”
